Head coach, coach and assistant

You are appointed to a team season. You see that team's players and nothing outside it. A head coach also manages the roster and staff list.

Where you work

  • The phone on the touchline: Players, Assess, Profile. The web for planning training.

Before the first session

  1. Accept your staff invitation on the invited address, then sign in.
  2. Open Profile → Security and set up an authenticator app if you are a head coach — in production the role does not work without one.
  3. Check your team under Assess; the roster is what the office or head coach put there.

Assessing the squad

  1. Assess → your team → Assess the squad. The sheet asks what the day asks: after

training, the core six (effort, focus, technical execution, decision making, teamwork,

coachability) plus the session's picks; after a match, how the game was played; a

formal review covers everything.

  1. Score whole levels — Needs Support to Excellent. **Leave blank anything you did not

observe**; a blank is never recorded.

  1. For each player, pick what stood out, the development point and the next focus (a tap

each), and add a line if you want — the next sheet starts from these.

  1. Save once. It is all or nothing, and never overwrites an earlier assessment.

Working with one player

  • Superpowers / Work on next / Getting better on the player's page are the engine's answer — the same on every screen.
  • Training — assign a weekly routine: a few drills, each so many times a week. Assigning a new one retires the old. The family marks activities done; you see the streak and the consistency figure.
  • Notes — write an observation and choose who it is for. Family is the only audience a parent or child sees. Private is yours alone.
  • Goals — one skill, a target level, a date.

Sessions and matches

  • Record a training session with attendance (present, late, absent, excused).
  • Schedule a match, then record the lineup, minutes, goals and your rating. Match form is context beside development — it never moves a skill score.

What you cannot do

  • Invite guardians or give a player a login (the office does).
  • See players outside your team season, or another club's anything.
  • Mark a player's training done — that is the family's.
